There are many restaurant in Jamsil Lotte World Mall, but I don't think there are any famous restaurants.
Compared to Sinsegye and Hyundai's efforts to recruit famous restaurants from all over the country, Lotte has never been an issue.
However, the resaurants in Lotte World Mall are generally delicious. In particular, I've heard that it failed at Urban skirt, which is like a food court underground, or Food Avenue of Lotte World Tower Food Court, which is famous for its good view.
Basically, you can enjoy a delicious meal no matter what menu you choose.
Nenertheless, if you are out of Jamsil and want to go somewhere with a good atmosphere(although everyone is into Songridan-gil again there days), I recommend the Cheese Room&Tasting Room located on the 5th floor of Lotte World Mall.
It feels like a bling bling Christmas, but it's not a seasonality, and it's usually decorated like this. Dried flower blend well together to give an emotional feeling.
Tasting Room of Jamsil Lotte World Mall has tables on the first and second floors. You can only go up to the second floor through the first floor, ans tou are usually guided to your seat through waiting.
When I visited during lunch time, there was a 15 to 20 minute wait on weekdays, and of course, I should think it would take longer on weekends.
The walls on the secend floor are also decorated with dreid flowers, creating an atmosphere suitable for dates and blind dates. Personally, when I look at flowers, my heart feels warm.
There is also an stmosphere that adds warmth to the clean interior.
There are many different menus, but the signature menu of Tasting Room is flat brad and popcorn salt ice cream. The Oreo frying pan was also very popular when it opened.
There are various kinds of coffee and drinks, and in fact, there are kinds of wine on the back page, so it's good to eat with meals.
And the signiture menu of Cheese Room seems to be cheesecake, but I saw the cheesecake in showcase at first floor, I was doubtful whether the cakes were being managed well because they melted.
I recomment that you check the cake condition with your eyes first befor ordering.
On this day, I decided to try a different menu instead of the signiture menu. The waiting was long on this day, but it took a very long time for the menu to be prepared.
I think it's because it's the end of the year, so many people ordered several menus during the meeting. So you may have enought time when you visit on weekends or the end of the year.
I waited for a long time, so Truffle Pacquery Pasta came out first. A large, wide macaroni-like pasta with a truffle-flavored cream sauce and a thin hamon is on it. Personally, I liked it because of pasta is thick. So I can eat much sauce with the pasta. It was so chewy and little bit salty.
As for the second menu, I wanted to eat a kind of rice, so I ordered Red Wine Beef Rissoto with a spicy taste.
I though red seasoning would come out because it said it's spicy, but unexpectedly, it was just Brown Galbi seasoning, and not so spicy. I ordered spicy food because I wanted to eat very spicy food, but if I really wanted to eat that spicy food, I should have gone to eat very spicy restaurant. You can think that the spicy taste of this Rissoto is that week.
The scent of the perilla leaf pesto on Rissoto was also strong, so I feel like eating Korean food coming to a Western restaurant. And the meat wasn't as soft as I expected.(Usually, Korean Galbi is very tender.)
There is a reason why each restaurant has a signiture menu, and it was the moment when I realized that I should chosen famous menu in there.
Personally, Tasting Room in one od my favorite restaurants, so I went with expectations. It wasn't a big problem but I felt it was a little undermanaged compared to other branches.
There maybe no other alternative within Lotte World Mall, but cosidering the taste and atmosphere of the food, Tasting Room is recommended. However, if you have a chance, I recommend to visit other branches.
